transplanted 100 small lettuce seedlings that had self-seeded inside the greenhouse along one side in a clump to the outside (rouge d'hiver)

transplanted chard, too, that had self-seeded and was crowding the oak leaf lettuce and had to go

put seeds in the ground outside: cress, salsify, endive, more peas, more carrots, and some flowers (gazon japonais, nigella) and fava beans(broad beans)

May was very cool this year

Tomatoes are surviving in the greenhouse , but not growing, too cold at night still
