We visited Heather's garden yesterday and now I know what the mystery seedlings in the fence corridor are: buckwheat. Mama planted it in April before they left and now it's coming up. The seaweed+cardboard is apparently an amazing weed barrier, nothing that we haven't planted has come up. Harvested 4 strawberries yesterday. Also made rose syrup yesterday. Might make some more today or tomorrow.

Had about 8 strawberries x 4 for lunch.
